The Story

Santa Fe Dusk

There is a moment in Santa Fe when the sky turns lavender and everything softens. The adobe walls glow with the last warmth of the day. The air cools, and the world feels calm.

We walked through the plaza to Casa Chimayo for an intimate dinner just after saying our vows. No audience, no rush, just us stepping into something steady and real. My tiny wedding party of four, plus a toddler walking happily and full of joy, like we were teenagers balancing along the sidewalk in our wedding clothes.

The sky layered itself in deep violet and soft lilac, holding the day gently before letting it go. I remember noticing how quiet it felt and wishing I had kept the photographer a little longer, like she offered. I wanted to hold onto the moment just a little more. It was not an empty quiet. It was full. The kind that settles into your chest and stays there.

We were living off vibes in true elopement form. We showed up to Casa Chimayo without a reservation. The owner noticed we had just gotten married and quickly prepared a private room for the most perfect, beautiful dinner. Afterward, we walked back through the plaza to Las Palomas, where it all began before the Santa Fe dusk.

Santa Fe Dusk was created from that evening.

The deep purple pearls carry the warmth of the sunbaked earth and the weight of promises spoken. The lavender glass stones hold the calm that followed.

A dusk that lingers.
A promise that does too.
